I read the book about fireflies. Fireflies are called Hotaru in Japan. I knew that for the first time. The name is interesting. Fireflies look like small fire. The story's main character is a girl. She visitｓ her grandparents' house. They are in the terrace and they look a lot of fireflies.The story recalled my childhood. I used to go to my grandparents' house and we saw a lot of fireflies. However I can't see fireflies recently because river became dirty. It was so pity thing.
The girl try to hunt fireflies because she want to make a lantern. It is her grandfather's idea. I think I want to do, too. The lantern is so beautiful. Fireflies emit bright light. I learned that a doctor used a firefly lamp in his operating many years ago in Cuba. I was surpriｓed this story but it is nice idea. Fireflies make cold light so it is not hot. Fireflies have special chemicals inside them. When fireflies take in air, the air mixes with these chemicals and frash.
She learned a lot about firefly and she release fireflies from the botol. This story remind of good old days.
