BR 1-09: FIREFLIES IN THE NIGHT

I read the book about fireflies. Fireflies are called Hotaru in Japan. I knew that for the first time. The name is interesting. Fireflies look like small fire. The story's main character is a girl. She visits her grandparents' house. They are in the terrace and they look a lot of fireflies.

The story recalled my childhood. I used to go to my grandparents' house and we saw a lot of fireflies. However I can't see fireflies recently because river became dirty. It was so pity thing.

The girl try to hunt fireflies because she want to make a lantern. It is her grandfather's idea. I think I want to do, too. The lantern is so beautiful. Fireflies emit bright light. I learned that a doctor used a firefly lamp in his operating many years ago in Cuba. I was surprised this story but it is nice idea. Fireflies make cold light so it is not hot. Fireflies have special chemicals inside them. When fireflies take in air, the air mixes with these chemicals and frash.

She learned a lot about firefly and she release fireflies from the botol. This story remind of good old days.

Secretary Examinaiton

Today is the day of the secretary examination. I have studied for two months. I didn’t sleep much last night because I have some things to do. I finished studying at four a.m. and I went to bed. I took a train at seven and I arrived at school at nine. The examination is from nine thirty to twelve but I finished the examination in an hour. I was very tired so I slept there.

When the examination was finished, I went to back. However, it is heavy rain so almost trains were stopped. It was one o’clock p.m. so my friend and I ate lunch at a restaurant in Kumamoto station. I ate cheese hamburger steak, it was very delicious. It took nine hundreds yen but I had only six hundreds yen!! She was kind enough to pay for me. We are very full so we rested there and we talked a lot. We belong to the same club.

After that, we finally could go home by bus. I got home at four. At any rate, I felt relief because the examination was finished. The announcement of passing is in July. I have to do a lot of homework because I couldn’t do it while I study about secretary.

Essay 1-05: My language learning history

I'm going to write about my language learning history. I don't study to speak Japanese but I can speak Japanese. Why can I speak Japanese? I would like to look back to my language learning history. In addition, I'm going to write about my English learning history. I have to study English but I also have to study Japanese.

First, I heard my mother's voice inside her. My mother always had talked to me. She read some books for me. I don't remember it but I might hear her voice. I was born and my parents talked to me a lot. I couldn't understand but I could be easy in my mind. In addition, my relatives also talked to me a lot. I was happy and I cried. I couldn't talk and I could cry only in these days. However, people around me looked after me without being angry. This is the way I became to be able to speak Japanese a little so I should thank a lot of people.

Second, I started to learn national language in a primary school. I study to read, write and hear. I became to be able to write "hiragana, katakana and kannji" and read some books. I talked a lot with friends and I became to be able to talk well. I got a lot of words. If I have some unknown words, I asked to teacher and parents. They asked me kindly. I can master Japanese easily. I didn't have any trouble.

Third, I started to learn English in a junior high school. It was a first experience so it was very interesting for me. I thought that I want to speak English so I have to learn a lot of English words. However, I learn English the more, the more difficult. I couldn't listen, speak and write well. It is not easy! I thought that I can not master English easily. I try to do my best or I can't master English.

Finally, I have studied English for seven years. Now, I think that I want to speak English well. I have to study hard or I can never speak English. I will go to New Zealand in this summer, it is my first trip abroad. I want to speak English a lot there and I want to make friends. To learn English is not easy for us like native language. Therefore, I have to study hard. In addition, I should master Japanese perfectly because it is natural. Japanese should know about Japan more. I don't know history of Japan well and I don't know Japanese traditional culture. If I am asked foreigner about Japan, I want to ask properly. Therefore, I have to study Japanese as well as English.

Lunch Time

I have no second period class so I went to Joyfull with my friend. We ate cheese hamburger steak, it is very delicious!! We went to the park near there. It was sunny so I am happy. I like sunny but I don't like rainy very much. My hair become curly. I am natural curly, I don't like it so I don't like rainy. When it is rainy day, I want to stay my home.

Shoubu Festival

I got up six o’clock today because there was a festival. I went to “Shoubu no sato” with my club’s members by bus. We helped to festival and I helped shop of “Dagashiya”. We sold a lot of snacks and many people bought the snacks so I was happy. My friend and I ate curry and rice, it was very delicious. We enjoyed dancing and singing. Finally, I got a gift. I had a good time!

I have never been to foreign country but I am going to go to New Zealand in this summer for foreign course. Recently I think that I have to know about Japan and Kumamoto. Essay1-04:School Trips

What I like is travel because it is exciting and interesting. Now, I am going to write about school trips. I have ever been to Nagasaki, Osaka and Tokyo. The school trips are very good memories. In addition, they were important events in the school days.

I went to Nagasaki when I was sixth grades. We went there by bus. It was very exciting. We ate snacks and talked a lot and sleep. First, we went to Graver garden. There are a lot of flowers and fantastic buildings. I found stone of hart-shaped there. I was very happy. Second, we went to Huis Ten Both. It is looks like the Nether lands and there are a lot of shops and a lot of attraction. I went to a movie theater with my friends but it is only movie.

I went to Osaka in my second year at junior high school. First I went to Universal Studio Japan. It was so interesting and exciting! I took a roller coaster of Snoopy with my friends. We took it three times. We took Jurassic Park, too. It was so scared me because it fall down! We feel wet.

I went to Tokyo in my first year at high school. First, we went to see some university in Tokyo because we have examinations. And, we went to town in Tokyo. There were a lot of people!! Therefore, I felt bad but we bought a lot. I was happy. Lastly, I went to Tokyo Disney Land. It goes without saying that it was very interesting!! We took a lot of attraction, roller coaster, haunted house and the castle. We went a lot of shops and I bought a soft toy and snacks. I took a lot of pictures and it became a good memories.

I want to go to graduate trip with my friends. I want to go to Tokyo Disney Land again. I love travel because I feel fun and I can know various things. Therefore I want to be a travel agent and I want a lot of people to enjoy the trip. I must have a lot of knowledge.

School trip is very important for everyone because we can have a good experience. I am going to go to New Zealand this summer vacation. It is like school trip but I will stay there for one months. I have to speak English so I will try to my best. And it will become very good memories.
